The MAB-X ball head with 100 mm bowl adapter is machined from solid aircraft grade aluminum and hard anodized for the optimal strength and durability. The MAB-X is designed to be used with 100mm compatible systematic tripod apexes. It features a redesigned lever-release arca clamp as well as a lever controlled ball. The redesigned clamp comes with an adjustable clamping width. The MAB-X is essentially an MA-40X ball head attached to a 100mm adapter. The ballhead can be removed from the adapter and be used as a standard ballhead which has the X rosette and 3/8" mounting studs. The systematic adapter can only be placed into a 75mm or 100mm systematic tripod apex.
