Leofoto MAB-X ball head — Features & Versatility

The ball head can be removed from the adapter and used as a standalone head, complete with an X rosette and 3/8" mounting studs. It is essentially an MA-40X ball head mounted to a 75mm/100mm systematic adapter.
This versatility makes it a smart investment. Use it as a full systematic setup or detach the head for use on standard tripods — two configurations in one package.
The systematic adapter fits exclusively into a 75mm or 100mm systematic tripod apex. It is not compatible with standard ball head threads alone, so pairing it with the right apex is essential.
