Guide TU650 LRF PRO 3.0 Thermal Scope (640 Core, In-Lens 1800 Yard Rangefinder)
The Guide TU650 LRF PRO 3.0 thermal scope is a high-performance 640×512 thermal optic built for hunters who want maximum thermal performance in a clean, streamlined platform. Featuring an in-lens 1800-yard laser rangefinder, 50mm objective lens, and the same core imaging system as the TU650 MUO, the PRO delivers exceptional detection and target identification without the added complexity of dual-spectrum systems.
What Sets the PRO Apart
The TU650 PRO 3.0 uses the same proven thermal core, optics, and base magnification as the MUO version, but focuses purely on thermal performance.
By eliminating the dual-spectrum system, the PRO offers:
- A simpler interface
- Faster operation in the field
- A more streamlined, purpose-built thermal experience
Its in lens laser rangefinder keeps the design compact and balanced, avoiding the bulk of side-mounted LRF modules.
Key Features
- 640×512 Thermal Sensor (12µm, ~18mK NETD) – Proven detection and clarity
- 50mm Objective Lens – Strong long-range performance
- In-Lens Laser Rangefinder (Up to 1800 Yards) – Clean integration and accurate ranging
- 3.7x Base Magnification – Ideal for predator and open-field hunting
- Advanced Image Processing – Clear, usable image in real-world conditions
- Thermal-Only Platform – Focused performance without extra complexity
- Dual 18650 Battery System – Reliable runtime in cold conditions
- 30mm Tube Design – Familiar mounting and balance
Real-World Performance
In the field, the TU650 PRO delivers the same detection capability and core image performance as the MUO, making it a strong choice for predator hunters who prioritize simplicity and speed.
The 3.7x base magnification and 50mm lens combination favors longer-range identification, while the high-sensitivity sensor maintains strong performance in varying environmental conditions.
The in-lens LRF design improves balance and usability, making the scope feel more natural on a rifle compared to external rangefinder systems.
PRO vs MUO
The TU650 PRO and TU650 MUO share the same core thermal performance, but differ in system design:
- TU650 PRO → Thermal-only, simpler, faster to operate
- TU650 MUO → Adds dual-spectrum (thermal + digital day/night)
If you primarily hunt using thermal, the PRO provides the same performance in a more streamlined package.
How It Compares
The TU650 PRO competes directly with the RIX DBH 6 and Nocpix Ace 50R in the 640 50mm LRF category.
With the same core performance as the MUO and a cleaner in-lens LRF design, the TU650 PRO offers:
- Strong long-range detection
- Simplified operation
- A balanced, rifle-friendly design
In many cases, it delivers comparable or better real-world performance while maintaining a more straightforward user experience.
Best Use Cases
- Coyote and predator hunting
- Open terrain and longer-range shooting
- Hunters who prefer thermal-only systems
- Users who want integrated rangefinding without added bulk
Bottom Line
The Guide TU650 LRF PRO 3.0 is built for hunters who want the full performance of the TU650 platform in a simpler, more focused package. With its in-lens 1800-yard rangefinder, proven 640 core, and streamlined design, it delivers serious capability without unnecessary extras.

- Failures or damages caused by third-party products, software, services, or actions.
Our warranty ensures repair of manufacturer defects during the specified period if the item has been used according to the user manual. The warranty excludes any external damage to the device, its casing, or adjustable parts' movements.
During the warranty period, Guide Sensmart will, at its discretion, repair or replace any optic that becomes defective from normal use. If repair is not possible, we will provide a replacement in equal or better condition.
Our warranty follows the product, not the original owner, and is tied to the sale date to the dealer or end user registration. It covers normal use and excludes cosmetic damage, normal wear, intentional damage, theft, loss, acts of God, or improper use. Any product that is modified, opened, or tampered with will void the warranty. Altered or damaged serial numbers will also void the warranty.
