The Guide TU650 LRF 3.0 thermal scope delivers true 640×512 performance with integrated rangefinding—without the inflated price tag seen across much of the market. Built with a 50mm objective lens, an approximately 1600-yard laser rangefinder, and a proven thermal core, it gives hunters the detection, identification, and reliability they need. No overpaying for features that don't translate into real-world results.

Where the Guide TU650 LRF 3.0 Wins

This scope sits in a rare position in today's thermal market. Guide Thermal USA engineered it around what actually matters in the field: detection range, target identification, reliable rangefinding, and usable magnification. No fluff. Just performance where it counts.

Key Features

  • 640×512 Thermal Sensor (12µm, ~18mK NETD) – Proven detection and sensitivity
  • 50mm Lens (F1.0) – Strong long-range capability
  • Laser Rangefinder (~1600 Yards) – Accurate distance data for real hunting scenarios
  • 3.9x Base Magnification – Ideal for predator and open-country hunting
  • 1920×1080 AMOLED Display – Clean, usable image
  • ~2800 Yard Detection Range – Reliable detection in open terrain
  • Dual Battery System (Internal + 18650) – Extended runtime in cold conditions
  • 30mm Tube Design – Familiar mounting and balance
  • Autoshot Record – Automatic photo/video capture triggered on firing

Real-World Performance

In real hunting conditions, the Guide TU650 LRF 3.0 delivers consistent detection and dependable performance shot after shot. The 3.9x base magnification suits coyote and predator hunting. Built-in Ballistics support helps hunters make confident, calculated shots at distance.

How It Compares

The Guide TU650 LRF 3.0 competes directly with scopes like the RIX LEAP L6R. While competitors often come in at higher price points, the TU650 delivers similar core detection performance at a significantly lower cost. You're not giving up performance—you're avoiding overpaying for it.

LRF vs PRO vs MUO

All TU650 models share the same core thermal performance:

  • TU650 LRF 3.0 → Best value, straightforward performance
  • TU650 PRO 3.0 → In-lens LRF, cleaner design
  • TU650 MUO 3.0 → Dual-spectrum + premium display

Bottom Line

The Guide TU650 LRF 3.0 is one of the strongest value plays in the 640 thermal scope category. It delivers the detection, clarity, and rangefinding capability hunters need—without pushing them into higher price brackets that don't offer meaningful real-world gains.

  5. Alteration, replacement, or damage to the original serial number label, absence of a serial number, or discrepancies between the product model or number on the warranty certificate and the actual product.
  6. Consumable accessories, such as batteries or protective films, that wear out naturally unless failure is due to material or process defects.
  7. Product completeness and appearance issues not raised upon acceptance.
  8. Failures or damages caused by third-party products, software, services, or actions.

Our warranty ensures repair of manufacturer defects during the specified period if the item has been used according to the user manual. The warranty excludes any external damage to the device, its casing, or adjustable parts' movements.

During the warranty period, Guide Sensmart will, at its discretion, repair or replace any optic that becomes defective from normal use. If repair is not possible, we will provide a replacement in equal or better condition.

Our warranty follows the product, not the original owner, and is tied to the sale date to the dealer or end user registration. It covers normal use and excludes cosmetic damage, normal wear, intentional damage, theft, loss, acts of God, or improper use. Any product that is modified, opened, or tampered with will void the warranty. Altered or damaged serial numbers will also void the warranty.
