Guide TD653 LRF Thermal Monocular (640 Core, 50mm, Laser Rangefinder)
The Guide TD653 LRF thermal Scanner is a high-performance 640×512 handheld thermal built for long-range detection and target identification. Featuring a 50mm objective lens, integrated laser rangefinder, and advanced image processing, the TD653 delivers clear, detailed thermal imaging for hunters who need to locate and evaluate targets at extended distances.
Why the TD653 Stands Out
The TD653 is designed for users who prioritize range and detail in a handheld scanner.
Its 50mm lens increases base magnification and improves identification at distance, making it ideal for open terrain where understanding what you’re looking at matters just as much as finding it.
Key Features
- 640×512 Thermal Sensor (12µm, ~18mK NETD) – Strong detection and sensitivity
- 50mm Objective Lens – Improved long-range identification
- Integrated Laser Rangefinder – Accurate ranging in real-world conditions
- High-Resolution AMOLED Display – Clean, usable image
- Extended Detection Range (~2800 yards) – Built for open terrain
- Compact Handheld Design – Lightweight and easy to carry
- Rechargeable Battery System – Reliable runtime in the field
Real-World Use
The TD653 is built for scanning large areas and identifying animals before transitioning to a weapon-mounted optic. The added magnification helps reduce guesswork at distance, making it a strong choice for predator hunters working open fields and longer-range setups.
Bottom Line
The Guide TD653 LRF is a powerful handheld thermal monocular built for hunters who want maximum reach and better identification at distance. With its 640 core, 50mm lens, and integrated rangefinder, it delivers reliable performance in demanding conditions.

We also offer:
- A 5-year warranty on all other components.
- A 2-year warranty on accessories such as batteries, chargers, and cables.
Products purchased from Guide Sensmart Company, the official US online store, and authorized dealers qualify for our standard after-sales services. These services include a free warranty, returns and exchanges, and original factory repairs, provided you present a sales certificate or receipt.
Our after-sales service guarantee does not cover the following situations:
- Unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or repairs not approved by Guide Sensmart.
- Malfunctions or damages due to misuse, improper environments, or poor maintenance.
- Accidents caused by force majeure events like fires, floods, earthquakes, or lightning.
- Normal wear and tear during product use.
- Alteration, replacement, or damage to the original serial number label, absence of a serial number, or discrepancies between the product model or number on the warranty certificate and the actual product.
- Consumable accessories, such as batteries or protective films, that wear out naturally unless failure is due to material or process defects.
- Product completeness and appearance issues not raised upon acceptance.
- Failures or damages caused by third-party products, software, services, or actions.
Our warranty ensures repair of manufacturer defects during the specified period if the item has been used according to the user manual. The warranty excludes any external damage to the device, its casing, or adjustable parts' movements.
During the warranty period, Guide Sensmart will, at its discretion, repair or replace any optic that becomes defective from normal use. If repair is not possible, we will provide a replacement in equal or better condition.
Our warranty follows the product, not the original owner, and is tied to the sale date to the dealer or end user registration. It covers normal use and excludes cosmetic damage, normal wear, intentional damage, theft, loss, acts of God, or improper use. Any product that is modified, opened, or tampered with will void the warranty. Altered or damaged serial numbers will also void the warranty.

Returns without an RMA will not be accepted. Guide Sensmart USA is not liable for damages or loss during shipping to our facility. Products returned under warranty should be packaged securely to prevent transit damage and must include:

Begining of warranty is linked to your purchase date, therefore keep your invoice in order to justify a warranty request.
Our after-sales department is located in Dallas, Texas, ensuring a fast and hassle free replacement or repairement process.
